Karine KAZINIAN

Karine Kazinian was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland by Presidential decree on September 8, 2011.

Ms. Kazinian assumed her duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Court of St.James’s on September 12, 2011. Before her appointment, she served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in charge of bilateral and multilateral European Affairs, as well as Asia- Pacific and Africa Department. She was also the Chief negotiator with the EU on Armenia-EU Association Agreement.

Having graduated from the Philology Department of Yerevan State University, Karine Kazinian began her diplomatic career in 1977 and has since then occupied various positions at the Foreign Missions abroad. With the launch of Eastern Partnership Initiative, Deputy Minister Kazinian became the first Chief negotiator with the EU on Armenia-EU Association Agreement and as the head of the Eastern Partnership Multilateral Platform 1- Democracy, Good Governance and Stability, participated in numerous sessions in Brussels.
