Ambassador Nersesyan's meeting with the Head of the UK Delegation to NATO

On 26 January, Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan met with Mr Alec Shelbrooke, the Head of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Delegation, a member of the Conservative Party, and Mr. Kevan Jones, the Deputy Head of the same delegation, Labor Party representative, in the UK Parliament.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the expansion of the Armenia-UK inter-parliamentary cooperation. Ambassador Nersesyan presented his vision on the deepening of Armenia-UK relations, as well as the latest developments in the region, the current challenges of Armenia, and the humanitarian crisis created in Artsakh as a result of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan in 2020.
