21.02.2011 • RA State Revenue Committee's Working Visit to the UK
A delegation of the Armenian State Revenue Committee headed by SRC Chairman Gagik Khachatryan paid a working visit to London between February 21 and 22. In London, the delegation met with David Hartnett, Permanent Secretary for Tax, and Laughlin Hickey, Global Head of Tax of KPMG. During the meetings, the parties discussed issues related to exchange of information and experience between the tax sectors of Armenia and UK, organisation of training courses for the Armenian tax workers in the UK. They also touched upon the reforms carried out during recent years by the RA State Revenue Committee.

Մարտի 13-ին սկսվեց ՀՀ ԱԺ Նախագահ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի աշխատանքային այցը Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորություն: Պատվիրակության կազմում էին ԱԺ պատգամավորներ Արման Սահակյանը, Կարինե Աճեմյանը, Կարեն Ավագյանը, Արայիկ Գրիգորյանը, ԱԺ գլխավոր քարտուղար, աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Գեղամ Ղարիբջանյանը:
06.10.2010 • Brian May Receives a Medal of Honour from President Serzh Sargsyan
On 6th of October the Embassy of Armenia welcomed one of the most famous members of the legendary rock group “Queen” Brian May, who is also a CBE (Commander in The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire). Charge d’Affair Mr. Gagik Kirakosian presented him with the “Medal of Honour” given by the President Mr Serzh Sargsyan for his services rendered to Armenia. Brian May is renowned for his humanitarian and charitable work and was a part of the 1988 “Rock Aid Armenia” project dedicated to providing assistance to the victims of the disastrous earthquake. At the end of the ceremony, Sir Brian May expressed his gratitude for the reward and his wish to visit Armenia in near future.

HE Dr. Vahe Gabrielyan, Armenia's Ambassador to the Court of St. James's participated in the Oxford Summit of Leaders, held at the historic Oxford Town Hall. Organized by the Europe Business Assembly, it was devoted to the European Union's Eastern Partnership Initiative and relations between the participating countries and the EU, particularly educational and economic coopeartion and investment opportunities.
