Aspects of Armenian Cultural Heritage: An Exhibition in High Wycombe

The exhibition is organized by the Chiltern-Armenian Society (CAS) and the High Wycombe Library and is held under the auspices of the Armenian Embassy in the UK. It was launched by HE Dr. Vahe Gabrielyan, Armenia's Ambassador to the Court of St. James's,  the Deputy Mayor of High Wycombe Cllr. Mohammad Abdul-Karim and Mrs. Odette Bazil, Chair of CAS.

Ambassador Gabrielyan thanked the organizers and spoke of the importance of cultural endeavours in enlivening ties between the regions of Armenia and the United Kingdom. He stressed that this exhibition is a part of similar events that are organized in the context of the Twinning Project between High Wycombe(UK) and Dilijan and Ijevan (Armenia), following an Agreement of Linkage signed in December 2006.

Mr. Errol Baker, Chairman of the Twinning Association, representatives of the local Armenian community, members of the public and the local press were also present at the launching of the exhibition which will last till the end of February.
