The Mass served at the Armenian Church of Saint Yegiche on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Armenian Army

The Mass dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the Armenian Army was served at the Armenian Church of Saint Yegiche in London on 5 February 2017.

After the liturgy Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, Head Chaplain of the Armenian Armed Forces, awarded Bishop Hovakim Manukian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the United Kingdom and Ireland, with the ‘Andranik Ozanian’ medal of the Ministry of Defence.

Mr. Armen Liloyan, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of Armenia, congratulated Bishop Manukian for the award and delivered a speech underlining the importance of the formation of the Armenian Army, which is the main guarantee of the independence, freedom and security of Armenia.
