Dr. Armen Sarkissian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, had a meeting with David Lidington, Leader of the House of Commons of the UK on 27 February 2017.

Both sides noted the substantial progress of bilateral cooperation since establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and the UK 25 years ago, and discussed a wide range of topics of mutual interest. They exchanged views on the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, as well as the importance of examining the British experience in the framework of transition of Armenia to the parliamentary system of governance.
