Armenia participated at the “International Day” festival at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom

UK’s Defence Academy in Shrivinham hosted "International Day" festival on Saturday, 1 December. Almost 60 countries, which currently have military representatives studying at the Academy, presented their culture and cuisine to the staff, students, service personnel and their families and guests.

Armenia’s Armed Forces were duly represented at the event, with the organizational and logistical support from the Embassy of Armenia and local Armenian community. The numerous visitors who attended the Armenian stand had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Armenian culture and history. They were treated to the traditional Armenian dishes and wine, as well as Armenian brandy.

To the delight of the numerous guests and visitors the London-based Akhtamar Armenian Performance Group performed traditional Armenian dances.
