Ambassador Nersesyan participated in a charity concert ‘Shine a Light for Artsakh’

On the 15th of September H.E. Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the United Kingdom, participated in a charity concert ‘Shine a Light for Artsakh’, organised by philanthropists Jacquie and Paul Gulbenkians.

Performances were delivered by famous Armenian and British musicians such as Levon Chilingirian (violin), Alexander Chaushyan (cello), Gavin Sutherland (piano), Anush Hovhannisyan (soprano), Anahit Chaushyan (piano), Arshak Kuzikyan (baritone), Edvard Pogossian (cello).

During the concert the musicians performed masterpieces of Komitas, Aram Khachaturian, Armen Tigranyan (Anoush), Alan Hovhannes, Bethoven, Glazunov, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Gershvin and Charles Williams.

The evening was led by prominent actor Joanne Zorian.
