On 14 February, Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan hosted students of the Foundations of Diplomacy Course at Oxford University at the Embassy of Armenia, led by Professor and former UK Ambassador John Beyer.

During the meeting, the Ambassador presented Armenia's foreign policy priorities, his vision for the development of Armenia-UK cooperation, the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the current situation around Artsakh after 2020's military aggression of Azerbaijan and Turkey, the opportunities for normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations and the process of the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The Ambassador also answered a number of students' questions regarding Armenia's foreign policy, economic potential and relations with the United Kingdom.
