Private screening of the film 'Promise' in London

The film ‘Promise’ was privately screened in the Soho hotel in London on 5^th of April 2017. The event was organised under patronage of Dr Armen Sarkissian, Ambassador of Armenia, in cooperation with the production team.

The representatives of the Government and Parliament of the United Kingdom, diplomatic corps accredited to London, the British mass media, cultural and business sectors, as well as Armenian Community were invited to the screening. The actors Shohreh Aghdashloo, James Cromwell and Chris Cornell, composer of the soundtrack of the film, specially arrived to London for this event.

Baroness Amos, the former UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator /2010-2015/ and current Director of SOAS, University of London, Amal Clooney, barrister specialising in international law and human rights, and famous actor George Clooney were among the VIP invitees.

Erik Esraelian, Producer of the film, delivered remarks prior to the screening, which afterwards was followed by Q&A session with Terry George, the film director. The film was warmly received by the attendees.
