Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the UK met Baroness Patricia Scotland, the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth

Armen Sarkissian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, had a meeting with Baroness Patricia Scotland, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, on 25 January.

A number of issues of mutual interest were touched upon during the meeting. The sides discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation in different international frameworks.

Ambassador Sarkissian spoke about the Summit of the Francophonie International Organization to be held in Yerevan on October 11-12 and, in this context, expressed hope that the Secretary General will take part in the event.
